New York Knicks Defeat Through Golden State Curry's Greatness of 54 Points
Felton's blocked shot led to J.R. Smith's tiebreaking basket with 1:10 left, and the Knicks overcame Curry's NBA season-high 54 points to beat the Golden State Warriors 109-105 on Wednesday night.
Tyson Chandler had 16 points and a career-best 28 rebounds for the Knicks, who won their second straight after a season-high, four-game losing streak. Amare Stoudemire had 14 points and Anthony added eight assists on the day the Knicks learned they could be without reserve forward Rasheed Wallace for the rest of the season because he needs surgery to repair a broken bone in his left foot. This game between Golden State and The New York Knicks was a tough game throughout the four quaters. Curry was the star of the night but Carmelo and the rest of the Knicks pulled through with a win stopping Golden State at the last 1:30 from the game, playing great defense throughtout the final seconds.

Lakers Won In Remembrance of Dr. Buss
Playing their first game since Buss died, the Lakers earned an emotional 113-99 victory over their greatest rivals on Wednesday night.
Dwight Howard had 24 points and 12 rebounds, Kobe Bryant added 16 points, Steve Nash and Earl Clark had 14 apiece, and Metta World Peace 12 in a game that surely would have delighted Buss.
Paul Pierce scored 26 points for the Celtics, who fell to 8-17 on the road and lost their third in a row away from home. Courtney Lee added 20 points and Kevin Garnett had 12 on 6-of-14 shooting. The Lakers provided a win for Dr. Buss, their owner, him struggling through cancer and couldnt go to the game in his suite box and his special chair. So in remeberance they engraved his name in The Lakers lockerroom to keep him in their hearts. The Lakers improved to 26-29 and gained a split in the season series, having avenged a 116-95 loss to the Celtics on Feb. 7 when they trailed by 32 points. The Lakers shot 51 percent in the first half and had four players in double figures, helping them to a 64-55 lead. Howard was energetic in scoring 15 points and setting screens reminiscent of his days with Orlando. Bryant had 14 points, Nash 12 and World Peace 10.

Josh Smith Getting Traded From The Atlanta Hawks?
Smith is looking and becoming traded from the Atlanta Hawks because he was a free agent but is now looking to commit to one team and progress from that one team. Smith is a great athletic player and would be great for a team to have him. Yet a Boston deal for Smith, sources said, would almost certainly have to be built around Paul Pierce, because Kevin Garnett isn't waiving his no-trade clause to go to the Atlanta Hawks if he's not willing to waive it to go to the Clipperland. And the prospect of Celtics front-office chief Danny Ainge exiling Pierce to the Hawks for Smith, after everything Pierce has done to restore the Celtics to glory over the past half-decade, is still hard to imagine. One team close to the situation consulted Monday night predicted that the Nets would ultimately land Smith via a three-way trade after ESPN's Chris Broussard reported Feb. 11 that Smith is a prime Brooklyn Nets trade target. Another team pinpointed the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks as the strongest contenders to win the Smith sweepstakes. The big worry for both of those teams, though, is whether they could really risk trading for Smith when convincing him to re-sign for the long term is likely to be a serious challenge in either city. Especially with Smith said to be angling for a max deal … and with nobody confusing the Suns or the Bucks with Mikhail Prokohorov's Nets.

LA Clippers Victory Over LA Lakers
Paul had 24 points and 13 assists, Griffin scored 18 of his 22 points in a spectacular first quarter, and the Clippers cemented their supremacy in Los Angeles with a 125-101 victory over the Lakers on Thursday night. Chauncey Billups hit five 3-pointers while scoring 21 points for the Clippers, who never trailed as they roared into the All-Star break by clinching the season series in their city rivalry for the first time in 20 years. The Clippers have won the Staples Center co-tenants' first three games of the season, with Los Angeles' longtime underdogs burying the 16-time champions in this latest meeting under a wave of 16 3-pointers.
Kobe Bryant had 20 points and 11 assists for the Lakers, who head to the break in 10th place in the Western Conference, four games below .500 with little reason to suspect things will get a whole lot better -- particularly without Pau Gasol, who's likely out until April with the latest in their series of serious injuries. This became a rivalry game and was close the whole time but the Clippers started hitting their shots and becoming a great defensive team on the Lakers. Covering Kobe with two people then retracking the defense as they move the ball across the floor.
Miami Heat On Their Seventh Straight Win Over OKC
With LeBron James playing at his best level yet, the Miami Heat powered into the All-Star break with a reminder to the Oklahoma City Thunder that the NBA championship still resides on South Beach.
James had 39 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists and narrowly missed extending his record-setting streak of high-scoring games combined with top-notch accuracy, as the Heat trampled Oklahoma City 110-100 in a Thursday night showcase.
James was in position to continue his NBA-record run of games with at least 30 points and 60 percent shooting to seven but missed from a couple of steps beyond the 3-point line as the shot clock ran down with just more than a minute left and Miami up 10. With a 7th winning streak, The Heat are on top in the Eastern Conference. It being it a close game towards the end, the Heat became unstoppable their their moving the ball and shooting percentages.
Chris Bosh chipped in 20 points and 12 rebounds for the Heat, who won the last four games of last season's Finals after losing Game 1 in Oklahoma City and continued their dominance in the series after winning on their home court on Christmas Day.

Miami Heat as First Seat In The Eastern Conference After The Win Against The Los Angles Lakers
On Sunday February 10, 2013 The Miami Heat came with a close and big win against the Los Angles Lakers 107-97. Lebron James scored 32 points on 12-for-18 shooting in a record-setting show, Dwyane Wade scored 30 points on their fifth straight win streak.
It was James' fifth straight game with at least 30 points, a franchise record. He also joined Adrian Dantley (1979) and Moses Malone (1982) as the only NBA players to score at least 30 and shoot at least 60 percent in five straight outings. He is trying to be on top and make history by being in the Heat.
Mario Chalmers scored 13 and Chris Bosh finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Heat.
Kobe Bryant had 28 points and nine assists for the Lakers, who also got 18 points from Earl Clark. The Lakers had eight turnovers in the fourth quarter, while Miami had none. So now the Miami Heat are 2 games higher than the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference. Everyone on the Heat contributed but Wade and Lebron became clutch.
