Celtics Rivalry Win Over The Los Angeles Lakers

It was even more special, and perhaps surprising, that the win gave the Celtics a 6-0 record since losing point guard Rajon Rondo for the season with a torn knee ligament. The Celtics came with a big win over The Los Angeles Lakers 95-116. Their rivalry showed as they were playing, especially Paul Pierce and his stats with 24 points that game. Kobe Bryant did as much as he can do with Gasol out because of a torn plantar placia in his ankle and Howard's sore shoulder from missing out a couple games.
Garnett reached 25,000 points with an 11-foot turnaround jumper that gave him six for the game and put the Celtics ahead 39-29 with 8:08 left in the half. Jeff Green had 19 points and Jason Terry added 15.
Bryant scored 27 to lead the Lakers, who had won their previous three games but suffered their worst loss of the season. Howard had nine points and nine rebounds in 28 minutes before fouling out with 5:07 left.

Miami Heat Stops The Houston Rockets Scoring Lead and Finishes With A Win

MIAMI -- On a night when the Miami Heat allowed more than 11 points over their season average, and against a team that has made scoring look amazingly easy over the past couple of weeks, three plays in the final minute made all the difference.
And all were on the defensive end playing how they play and what their known for.
Mario Chalmers and Udonis Haslem each took a charge in the final 46 seconds, Dwyane Wade blocked a 3-point try by James Harden to essentially seal the outcome, and the Heat held off the Houston Rockets 114-108 on Wednesday night. Dwayne Wade became a clutch ignitor for the game last night even defensively with James Harden not allowing him to make threes. The Miami Heat stopped the Rockets from their title from having the high percentage team of scoring. That gam eas you can see became difficult for them, allowing the Heat to get their 24 straight win.

Kobe Bryant's Recognition VS Brooklyn Nets

They were sure dangerous in Brooklyn, where Bryant threw down that dunk out of his wildly athletic youth in the final minutes of the Lakers' 92-83 victory, blowing by Gerald Wallace and down the lane and slamming it right in Kris Humphries' face. Kobe Bryant became clutch that game and showed all the Nets fan how its done and also had them to their feet in applause. They say now Kobe is becoming like Micheal Jordan but in reality I think Micheal is still better but of course Kobe isnt too far away from that.
That attitude drove Bryant to the five rings and the 30,834 regular-season points, only 358 behind Jordan's sum. Kobe will pass Michael on the all-time scoring list in short order, but baskets alone won't vault him past Jordan on the unofficial ranking of NBA legends.

The latest came Monday night against the Pistons, when Chandler scored eight points and pulled down 20 rebounds. He earned a place in the Knicks' record book in the process, becoming the first Knick with three consecutive 20-rebound games since Willis Reed accomplished this feat in the 1969-70 season. Tyson Chandler has become an All-Star with his motivation and driveness from wanting to get the championship ring and by the looks of his games it proves it. Having the stats he has now as a power forward is incredible and is for now unbreakable in New York Knicks League. Tyson Chandler motivates me to work harder and to proceed to continue practicing as much as he does getting to where hes at now. Ranked high in the NBA League.

LA Lakers Luckily Victory Over Detroit Pistons

Andre Drummond has been a revelation. Not only is he playing like someone who should have been the second pick in the draft (instead of the ninth), but he has executives and coaches thinking he can be the best player from this class. Yes, better than No. 1 pick and national collegiate player of the year Anthony Davis.

But as amazing as Drummond has been, and as bright as the future looks in Detroit, there is still a huge learning curve for him to undergo if he is going to be an All-Star-level performer, which is absolutely in his wheelhouse. (That's what an 18-point, 18-rebound game as a 19-year-old will do for your projected future.)
One of the most accurate free throw shooters in NBA history had missed two, giving the Detroit Pistons one more chance at a game-winning shot. Kyle Singler lobbed the ball toward the basket, and rookie Andre Drummond stretched his 6-foot-11 frame and tried a one-handed dunk with Pau Gasol defending.
No good. The Lakers held on for a 98-97 victory.
Gasol had 23 points and 10 rebounds and was the last line of defense on Detroit's final alley-oop attempt Sunday. The Lakers blew an 18-point third-quarter lead but overcame their late free throw struggles to win for the fifth time in six games.
Los Angeles has won two in a row without Dwight Howard. The All-Star center sat out again with a right shoulder problem.
Kobe Bryant's driving three-point play with 1:09 remaining gave the Lakers a 98-95 lead, and they held on despite missing four free throws in the final 16.8 seconds.

Celtics Suprising Win Over LA Clippers

BOSTON -- The Celtics keep rolling without Rajon Rondo
Not even a late comeback by one of the NBA's best teams could keep Boston from beating the Los Angeles Clippers 106-104 on Sunday and improve to 4-0 since a knee injury ended their star point guard's season
The Clippers played without their own brilliant point guard. Chris Paul missed his seventh straight game with a bruised right knee cap.
But they cut a 98-83 deficit to 103-101 on a 3-pointer by Eric Bledsoe with 56 seconds remaining. Then Bradley drew an offensive foul on Los Angeles' Jamal Crawford with 26 seconds to go.
Paul Pierce then held on to the ball -- and was surprised that the Clippers didn't foul him -- before making a 3-pointer with 2.5 seconds left to clinch the win and finish with a team-high 22 points. with players missing from both teams they both pushed and played to their advantage. This game was a complete shock to those Clippers fans but a victory to those Celtics fans.

Heat Victory Over Toronto Raptors

TORONTO -- Both on the court and along the sidelines, the Miami Heat will be well represented at this month's NBA All-Star Game.
Lebron James scored 30 points, Chris Bosh had 28 against his former team and the Miami Heat beat Toronto 100-85 Sunday for their 10th straight victory over the Raptors. After their game, they delayed their fligth and ended up watching the superbowl at a bar in toronto where the raptors were sponsored. Bosh seemed motivated into beating his old team again through what they put him through. The final score waas 100 to 85. Rudy Gay made 25 points as a leading score and Lebron James had 30 points 8 rebounds and 7 assists.
